About fucking time the selectors showed some spine.
A few slogs in some hit and giggle cricket doesn't show form for a Test series, particularly when you're talking about a player who was never that natural a Test player anyway....

I dont c why so many people are calling this the end of Symonds.. he's still a part of the T20 WC squad and definitely a shoe-in for the ODI side.. maybe the end of his test career, but surely he'll be playing for Australia again.
I think people are only talking about his Test career. You'd be stupid to write him off in the shorter formats.
